Kate Terrell


Kate joined Driscoll’s in January of 2016 as the Chief Human Resources Officer.  Prior to that she held the position of vice president, Human Resources for Whirlpool’s Global Products Organization and had accountability for the people strategy and execution. 


Previously she held the role of Sr. Director, HR Corporate and International where she had HR accountability for Finance, GIS, Legal, Communications, and HR.  From 2007 – 2010 she was the global director of Human Resources for the global strategic sourcing organization.


Kate has a unique background that spans over 20 years across a variety of Human Resource, Learning, Change Management, and Consulting experiences, working in mid and large organizations to help drive effective use of the company’s human capital.  Kate’s resume includes companies such as Accenture, Limited Brands, and Eagle Family Foods (a GE Capital/Warburg Pincus Joint Venture).   


In addition to her work with Whirlpool, for over 15 years, Kate has been affiliated with LeaderShape Inc, a non-profit, leadership development organization who focus is to help young adults learn to live and lead with integrity.  She joined their Board of Trustee’s in 2011


Kate received her BBA from The Ohio State University.    


Kate lives in Santa Cruz, CA with her husband, David, and daughter, Reece.  She loves the outdoors, fitness, and cooking.
